I’ve been taking photos of the Thaipusam procession for many years and this is the first time that I’ve been blocked by tourists and a strange lady who keeps shouting at the devotee family members to move away so that she can take photos.

An exhibition by Jonathon Kambouris at the Esplanade Tunnel from 7 – 24 January 2010, part of Fringe Gallery of The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2010.
Last Meals is a series of photographic prints depicting mugshots of convicted killers and their selected last meals before execution. Every prisoner waiting to be executed is granted a last meal, which is usually limited to a sum of US$20. Prisoners waiting to die choose their last meals for different reasons – some feast on whatever they are craving for at the moment, while others chose something from their past memories which bring them personal comfort. Such details surrounding the final hours before being put to death are a matter of public record and are the inspiration for the series.

I thought that the OC is just like a normal shopping centre here in Singapore.
I was wrong when I stepped in to the OC, it is something that is not seen here in Singapore.
I like the concept of the vertical mall with open spaces and the small details like the lighting and artwork.
At the basement, The Med, is really a great concept of bringing in the mediterranean atmosphere.

Happy New Year 2010, this is my first blog post.
I’ve bought the Sony DSC WX1 on December 2009, traded in my old camera and received a S$100 discount, therefore I paid S$499 for it.
The Pano function of the Sony DSC WX-1 has opened new doors in the way we present our photos without the need for more time on our computer to stitch the photos together.
