Amitabha Buddhist Centre (ABC) is exhibiting the largest Buddha statue carved from gemstone quality jade. The Jade Buddha for Universal Peace is 2.7 metres high and sits on an alabaster throne of close to 2 metres high. The Jade Buddha itself weighs around 4 tonne and has been valued at $5million. Its size and beauty makes it a wonder of the world.
The purpose of exhibiting the Jade Buddha for Universal Peace around the world is to enable people, regardless of religion, to be inspired towards following a peaceful path in all walks of life.
All are welcome and admission is FREE!
