I was looking for a dual USB charger with both having two amperes output to charge my iPad and iPhone 4.
Usually, for a dual USB charger, one USB will output one ampere and the other two amperes. There are dual USB charger with two amperes output but it is quite expensive, priced around S$70 and more.
I found the Innergie mMini dual USB adapter, both USB output at two amperes. It is at priced at S$35 and I bought it at the newly opened Newstead store at Jurong Point.

It also has intelligent USB meaning that it detects the power requirement of your mobile device and only delivers the right amount of power therefore avoiding over cooking your battery. It’s the same on the Dual Car Charger and the New PocketCell battery bank. that give you 2 full iPhone charges or 4.5 hours extended use on an iPad.
Correct me if I’m wrong:
“2.1A Max for each USB” means that each USB port is capable of 2.1A output, but NOT SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Reason is because this adapter is rated at 15W output.
2.1A * 5V = 10.5W
Hence it’s unlikely that both ports can output at 2.1A simultaneously, as that will exceed the 15W output rating.
