2018 MAY Doujin Market, Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, Singapore

5 May 2018 Saturday

050518 (Sat) Day One

I reached Suntec City at around 1400 hours after lunch.

Met some of the photographers who came in earlier and was told that the Suntec security did not allow to take any photos and some of them were told to delete the photos from the SD card.

The Level 3 area was closed off and was used as a staging area for the queue to get into the Hall 406 as there was a security check before you can enter.

A few hours later, we were told that it was okay to photograph at all area.

There were a lot of cosplayers but most did not really stay after entering the Doujin market.

The crowd thinned at around 1700 hours and many of the photographers also close shop.

Photos are being post processed.

Cheers.

2018 APR 25th Harajuku Fashion Walk Singapore

7 April 2018 Saturday

070418 (Sat)

It started to rain while I was walking towards the Merlion Park.

After reaching the Merlion Park, the organiser decided to meet up at the next point due to the heavy rain.

In the end, the 25th Harajuku Fashion Walk was cancelled due to the heavy rain.

Since most of us already reached the next point, National Museum of Singapore, we decided to just do an impromptu photo shoot.

Cheers.

2018 MAR Sakura Matsuri: Anime Garden, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

17 March 2018 Saturday

170318 (Sat) Day One

I believe that this is the first time that a cosplay event is being held at the Gardens By The bay.

I mainly stayed at The Canopy to take photos of the cosplayers.

The place was really hot even with the fans switched on as it was on slow speed. When it rained, there were not much shelter to take refuge.

There were not that many cosplayers that came down today.

Date: 17 (Sat) – 18 (Sun) March 2018
Time: 10 am – 11 pm | 1000 – 2300 hours

180318 (Sun) Day Two

I came in after having my lunch and stayed at The Canopy until the late afternoon then made my way to the stage area.

Quite a good number of people that came down today to see GARNiDELiA performing.

I was not able to catch the two days of concert due to work commitments.

Many thanks to all the cosplayers that posed for the camera without fear or favour.

Cheers.
