2010 Ghost bike in memory of Benjamin Mok, Singapore

6 April 2010, Tuesday

A ghost bike for Benjamin Mok , 35, a freelance writer, was cycling with his friend, Mr Leong Poh Meng, 22, a chef, along Clementi Road at night when they were hit from behind by a suspected drunken driver.

Mr Mok, who never regained consciousness after the accident, died in hospital from head injuries.

This is the first “ghost bike” in Singapore.

Rest in peace Benjamin Mok.
