2010 Children playground, Singapore

29 September 2010 Wednesday

Trying to capture some of the old children playgrounds before they are demolished  in the name of progress.

I’m also trying to take photos of the new children playgrounds to show the difference with the old playgrounds.

    Hi there 🙂

Just want to say that your blog has definitely helped me in finding the direction to the various playgrounds. esp the mini dragon playground in tpy as it doesnt have much coverage as compared to the bigger ones! nevertheless, it still look me 45mins or so to finally get there because my GPS was screwed up and provided me with wrong directions!

am looking forward to visiting more playgrounds in the east soon 🙂

      Hi Blisschic,

No worries. I’m glad that my blog post has helped you to find the old playgrounds that are fast disappearing here in Singapore.

It is better to have a street map and asking people who lives in that area about the location of the playgrounds.

I’ve also to thank Justin for his GPS coordinates of the playgrounds. Actually, I never knew that there were also the mini dragon playground.

I would suggest that you make your way first to Dover Road for the turtle and hare playground and the seal playground at Dakota Crescent.
