2011 JULY Great Eastern Women 10K, Singapore

3 July 2011 Sunday

I decided to walk part of the way with the ladies for the 2011 Great Eastern Women 10K.

The 10 kilometre run started at 0730 hours.

There was confusion at the crossing point at Nicoll Highway as the faster runners needs to cut across the road where the main body of runners were running.

It was quite a difficult route with ups and downs near the F1 pit, Bayfront bridge and the Merlion park.

However, the runners were rewarded with the beautiful scenery of Singapore’s CBD buildings and Marina Bay Sands.

I also came across the BMT passing out parade at The Float @ Marina Bay while walking over at the Bayfront Bridge.
