240312 (Sat) Day One

The Third Singapore National Cheerleading Championships being held at the Pasir Ris Sports and Recreation Centre started at 1230 hours.

There were not that many people viewing the cheerleading competition today.

The first day sees the cheerleading competition of Competitive Partner Stunts  (4 teams), Competitive Group Stunts All-Female (7 teams) and finally the Competitive Group Stunts Mixed (5 teams).

It ended at around 1400 hours.

There were a lot of people, mostly parents, since most of the teams on this day comprises the primary and secondary teams cheerleading event.

The mainstream media was portraying how great was the Freestyle Community cheerleading event. However, many in the hall were left wondering why this category was introduced.

Third – MGS Dazzlers Junior from MGS Primary School.

First – MG Sizzlers from MGS Secondary School.
Second – Avengerz  from Ang Mo Kio Secondary School.

First – KR Steppers from National University of Singapore Kent Ridge Hall.
Second – AC Pistols from ACS(I).
Third – Genesis from ITE College East.

First – Ulu Pandan Wildcards Cheerleading Team.
Second – KR Steppers from National University of Singapore Kent Ridge Hall.
Third – Denvers Cheerleading Team.

]17[ Competitive Institute of Higher Learning Category

First – SP Gusto Team A from Singapore Polytechnic.
Second – Magnum Force Team Gold from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Third – NTU Aces from Nanyang Technological University.
