2013 Karipap, Singapore

15 June 2013 Saturday

Where is the triangle milk carton?

In the 1980’s and early 1990’s there will be indian sellers carrying a big basket on his head with a cross chair to put the basket later for selling indian pakoda, we call him the masalodeh man.

There will be bai selling bread and karipap.

Fast forward today, I have not seen any bai selling karipap on wheels or the masalodeh man.

The karipap are now on sale at these two shops which are located near each other.

I am not sure how long they will survive with the high cost of rental shops here in Singapore.
