2013 JUNE RSAF Third Internal Rehearsal, National Day Parade, Singapore

19 June 2013 Wednesday

This is the RSAF Third Internal Rehearsal for the 2013 National Day Parade (NDP) and also the media event day.

The haze was quite bad in the morning and there was a burnt smell in the air, as a result, it was difficult to get a good shot of the aircrafts.

The RSAF aerial display consists of four RSAF F15SG in delta formation, five F16D+ for the bomb burst followed by three F15SG and a closing flypast of four F16D+ in scissor cross with a lone F16D+ cutting through.

Three vehicles for the Dynamic Defence Display (D3) were showcased today for the media, the SAF new Light Strike Vehicle (LSV) Mk II armed with a GPMG without the SPIKE ATGM, SPF Tenix S600 APC with barricade remover fitted to the front, Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) roof platform was not attached and SCDF Scania Compressed Air Foam Fire Engine.

Three school children were oufitted with the SAF uniform from the army, navy and airforce for the photo shoot as these school children will be part of the performance for the NDP.
