18 October 2013 Friday

The Biopolis has organised a Biopolis Carnevale to commemorate the Biopolis 10th Anniversary.

Personally, I find that it was a very low key event.

There were 26 exhibitors showcasing their works in the Biopolis. Game stalls, playground pen for the children, lucky draw and a mini concert to entertain the visitors.

Unfortunately, I was not able to go for the research facility tour although I have registered for it online as the people on the ground claimed that they did not have my name on the list.

There was a National Environment Agency (NEA) Environmental Health Institute (EHI) tour registration desk but it was not manned, so I was also not able to register for the tour.

It was very nice to be back at the Biopolis to see Zaha Hadid work for the phase one. After the phase one, the buildings were plain and unimaginative.
