26 March 2013 Tuesday

This is my third time coming down for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) at Langkawi.

Unfortunately, it was a bad start with my trip to Langkawi with the flight as we were scheduled to leave Changi Airport at around 1030 hours but the Airasia airplane was delayed.

We boarded the airplane at 1100 hours but after fifteen minutes waiting inside, we were told to deplane due to the air closure of the Langkawi Airport for the aerobatic display from 1200-1400 hours for the media. The AirAsia flight was rescheduled to leave Changi Airport at 1330 hours.

Like the previous years, there were not enough taxis when we arrived at Langkawi Airport.

Not much improvement near the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) as it is still a one way road that will jam during LIMA and there is still no pedestrian walkway for people to walk from MIEC to the Langkawi Airport for lunch.
