I received a request to use my photo of the old National Stadium taken during one of the 2010 National Education, National Day Parade for the 2016 National Day Parade Souvenir Booklet.
Initially, I was hesitant about giving the photo.
Only saw the end product a few days ago and I had no idea that the Sports Hub outline was superimposed onto the old National Stadium.
Unfortunately, for the 2016 National Day Parade (NDP), most of us could only catch the Chinook and Apache flypast and the fireworks from the outside.
In the end I decided that the better option was to just stay at home then to come out to catch the 2016 National Education NDP.
See you at the 2020 National Day Parade.
Go big or go home.
