I have started the 2017 Anime, Cosplay, Games and Fashion event list today as Cosfest Asia has put up the 2017 Cosfest Sea event dates for next year.

This is my third year of doing the ACG event list for Singapore.

Quite surprised that close shop for J-Obsession at The Cathay for the year 2017. We lost two Japanese cosplay events this year, J-Obsession and Funan Anime Matsuri.

The Chara Expo clashes with the STGCC, it will be interesting to see the number of visitors to both events.

All the major 2017 cosplay events in Singapore are already in the list.

I do hope that there will be no clash of events as it is not good for the cosplayers, organisers and photographers.

    Not just J-Obsession and Funan gone, but since C3 is merging with AFA, there won’t be CharaExpo. Organizers of ICDS and Doujima have confirmed that they will no longer run ICDS in order to focus on Doujima.

    I just found out there will be a new event called ‘Akiba Town’ in first week of August at Orchard, but it seems very under-promoted?
    All I’ve found of it right now is a FB page with like 2 posts. -sweatdrops-
    It makes me wonder if it’s actually legit, but I thought I’ll let you know too. 🙂

    stgc is just too ex. plus my only drive for acg event is dojin.so the more ex the ticketing , the more ex the artist need to pay for their booth also , which means more ex the dojin goods. so stgc is really not for me. actually dojin stuff in SG anime fests is relatively high. due to the rental fee…
